Worldwide entertainment industry leader, Ticketmaster UK, selected rischegroup tofit-out new accommodation for over 300 employees in the heart of Manchester athistoric Grade II listed-building Sevendale House in the city’s iconic NorthernQuarter.Ticketmaster UK is the world’s largest event management and ticket distributor,working within the theatre, music, sporting industries and more.They came to us with a need to develop their new offices into a dynamic, inspiringplace of work which reflected their exciting and fast-paced industry. Our brief was to create a modern and professional environment which will becomean iconic office space in Manchester, paying homage to the cultural heritage of boththe company and the building’s historic surroundings. As a result, we were alsochallenged with complying with necessary listed-building planning and buildingregulations while meeting all of the requirements of a modern workforce.Within this design and build contract we fitted out Ticketmaster’s new offices whichspan over three floors.The fit-out required us to design a secure print and store area for a large digitalprinter and other finishing machinery.To reduce the noise levels from the ticket printing machines, we improved theacoustic properties of the space by installing new partitioning and a suspendedceiling.Among designing the boardroom, training room, offices, food preparation and eatingareas, we also designed a bespoke breakout facility; this comprised of informalmeeting areas, a FIFA gaming zone, a library and a TV area.Wall art displaying tickets and posters for Ticketmaster events feature prominentlythroughout the building, and Manchester street artist Kelzo was commissioned toproduce a hand-painted graffiti mural, depicting scenes of both traditional andcontemporary Manchester culture.Carried out by a team of rische professionals, the fit-out and full relocation of allpersonnel from their old offices to the new was completed in 14 weeks, and all staffwere ready to move in immediately on the first Monday after the lease at their oldpremises had ended.
