Rische Group was appointed as the Principal Designer for the first floor office fit-out at Bizspace Amber Court in Newcastle Upon-Tyne. The project aimed to transform a large, underutilised space into a modern, functional office environment that fosters productivity and collaboration. Spanning 31,215 SQ FT, the newly designed office space includes 35 private offices, a large breakout space, a tea point, a meeting room, lockers, a new reception area, and upgraded bathrooms. Our team worked closely with TPI, the project managers, and Bizspace, the client, to deliver a workspace that meets the demands of contemporary businesses while enhancing the overall user experience.

Manchester Central, a Grade II listed building in the heart of Manchester, was originally constructed in 1963 as Manchester Central railway station. This iconic structure, famous for its historic clock that draws tourists from around the world, required a thoughtful renovation of its Exchange Suite. The brief called for a comprehensive overhaul of their prestigious theatre room—a vital space where conferences and talks regularly welcome business owners, mayors, and other influential city stakeholders. This significant venue serves as a crucial hub where Manchester’s key decision-makers gather to showcase ideas and foster collaboration. Our transformation extended beyond the main theatre to include a complete redesign of the entrance and lobby areas. By reimagining these spaces, we created a more versatile, welcoming environment that better accommodates visitors and enhances the overall experience. The reconfigured lobby now offers flexible zones that support networking, informal meetings, and seamless transitions between events.

In 2018, Rische Group delivered a transformative interior fit-out for Campus Living Villages’ (CLV) headquarters in Salford Quays. This project created a modern, functional environment that enhanced both operations and employee wellbeing. Campus Living Villages, a global provider of student accommodation across the UK, Australia, and the United States, required their Salford Quays office to reflect their commitment to quality and community while supporting their operations.

Mana was once a huge manmade box of glass, steel and concrete. Located in the middle of Ancoats, an area of Manchester that historically became a cradle of the Industrial Revolution and as such, is still quite industrial. This needed to be transformed into a space where people could feel in touch with the elemental forces of nature, the very ethos that embodies Mana. Simon Martin and his team wanted to create an informal dining experience, serving a multiple course menu to showcase the best of our islands produce at any time of the year. It was therefore imperative that the design was minimalistic and earthy in order to reflect the purpose of the experience and place importance on the dishes which are the feature of the restaurant. Designed by JRD in conjunction with ZSpace UK; Rische Group were instructed to execute the Fit-Out this incredible space.
