CLS Healthcare operates 18 residential care homes including specialist dementia households at eight locations in the North West offering over 1,200 older people with a warm, friendly and nurturing environment in which to blossom.
We were briefed to create a welcoming space for CLS staff and visitors that was both modern and inviting. Emphasis was placed on creating a place of work that encouraged staff productivity, providing a space employees could truly be proud of. Specific colour palettes and CLS branding was used effectively to present the same personality and warmth that the organisation is commended for in their residential care homes.
As the building housed other tenants, the rischegroup worked hard to ensure the installation work caused minimal disruption to them. Also, it was vital that the project was completed on time and well within budget, which we achieved.
With staff productivity one of the most important factors in this project, CLS wanted to add new break-out areas for their employees. These informal workspaces have been proven to increase output from workers by offering them an alternative space to work in or hold meetings.
The fit-out involved a team of installation professionals to deliver a working reception, meeting rooms, open plan areas and celluar offices. Specific jobs within the project included installing vinyl flooring, a bespoke reception desk, data and power fittings, solid and glass partitioning, kitchen facilities, corporate signage and custom fittings and furniture.
